What this page is
Velogics serves healthcare clinics and health-service businesses. As part of onboarding, Velogics offers to enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with eligible U.S. healthcare clients. This page is an availability and intake notice, it tells you that a BAA can be put in place. It is not the executed agreement, and it does not publish the terms of any BAA.
Where we are on HIPAA
Velogics is building toward HIPAA compliance and designs the platform with HIPAA safeguards in mind. We are not yet HIPAA compliant and do not represent ourselves as a HIPAA-compliant service or as a Business Associate today. Technical controls, including access logging, granular roles, encryption, and breach detection, and subcontractor arrangements are in progress. Entering a BAA is part of that roadmap for eligible healthcare clients during onboarding.
Who is eligible
A BAA is available to U.S. healthcare clients who are covered entities or business associates under HIPAA and who would have Velogics process protected health information (PHI) on their behalf. Eligibility and scope are confirmed during onboarding. Whether and how PHI may be processed depends on the specific features in use and the safeguards available at that time.
