Ottawa Equal Air won back 130+ furnace tune-ups in two weeks.

Equal Air is an owner-run heating, cooling and gas company in Ottawa. This fall it asked its past customers about their furnace tune-up with the AI Loyalty Manager, and the visits landed in a schedule built around how the day runs.

The first two weeks

furnace tune-up visits booked by past customers
134furnace tune-up visits booked by past customers
past customers back on the schedule
113past customers back on the schedule
past customers reached by email and text
1,800+past customers reached by email and text

That's more paid work for Equal Air, from customers they already had.

Velogics app data for Ottawa Equal Air, October 6 to 19, 2026, shared with the owner's permission. Visits booked through the campaign; cancelled visits aren't counted.

1 · The campaign

Asked about the tune-up, answered on the spot.

The AI Loyalty Manager ran the season: one reminder per customer, a reply to every answer, and a booking at the end of it.

  1. Step 1

A reminder to every past customer

Equal Air's past customers got a fall tune-up reminder by email. Once the account's texting number was live, the ones who hadn't answered got a short text too.

  2. Step 2

    An answer to every reply

When someone wrote back, the AI answered from Equal Air's own knowledge base: what the tune-up covers, the service area, and the price the owner chose to share.

  3. Step 3

    Booked in the conversation

It confirmed the address first, offered arrival windows that fit the schedule and booked the visit. A customer with several properties had all of them booked in one go.

  4. Step 4

    Everything else to the team

A repair, a new furnace or anything that wasn't a tune-up went to Equal Air's team, and the team could step into any conversation.

2 · The schedule

Booked around how the day actually runs.

We set up Equal Air's booking with the team, so the AI offers times that fit how the day runs.

  • Areas with their own days

The city is split into 16 areas, each worked on its own days. A customer's address decides which days they're offered.

  • 3-hour arrival windows

Customers pick a window, not an exact time, so the technician can arrive anywhere inside it.

  • Up to 8 jobs a day

A full day stops taking bookings from the AI and the booking page. The team can still add a visit by hand.

  • Room to drive

A time is offered only when there's room to drive from the job before it and to the job after it, estimated from postal codes.

  • One printed day sheet

The next day's visits, with addresses and notes, print on one day sheet.
